The holiday season can bring us so much joy, but for some, it may exacerbate feelings of grief and isolation. Check out these tips to help make your grieving person’s holiday a little easier:

• Start a meal train – gathering a group of people to deliver prepared food and even eat meals with a grieving person is a great way to ensure they’re eating and socializing.
• Check in often – just because your friend or family member says they’re okay today doesn’t mean they won’t need your support tomorrow. Send a meme, ask a question, give them a call – checking in comes in many forms!
• Help find support – grief can be overwhelming, making it difficult to dedicate time to find professional help. With your loved one’s consent, you can help them find a therapist, counselor, or grief group that’s right for them.
